Missouri City’s Citizens’ Police & Fire Academy is usually held once a year and offers "behind-the-scenes" view of the dangers police officers and firefighters face on the job. The free, eight-week program is open to residents.
Real World Training
Participants receive instruction in:
There will be a staged SWAT operation, traffic stops, building searches, and crime scene investigations.
After completing the academy, members will be eligible to join the Missouri City Police & Fire Auxiliary and/ or the Citizens Response Team.

The training will begin March 25 and ends with graduation on May 27. The classes will be once a week (every Wednesday) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
All seats are filled for the 2020 class.
